Robooter Limited Warranty Terms

This Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is issued by Robooter for power wheelchairs and related products purchased by consumers in the 48 continental U.S. states.

Your rights under this Warranty are in addition to and separate from any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. This Warranty does not limit or replace those rights.

Robooter warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, when used normally and maintained in accordance with Robooter’s published guidelines, user manuals, and safety instructions.

Products Covered & Warranty Periods

This Warranty applies only to new Robooterproducts purchased directly from Robooter.us
Unless otherwise stated in a written agreement, the following warranty periods apply from the date of original retail purchase (proof of purchase required):

Frames and Main Structural Components

  • Covered parts: main frame, chassis frame, swing arm assembly, backrest frame, folding assembly, suspension shock absorbers, chassis assembly, and similar structural components.
  • Warranty period: 60 months from the date of original retail purchase.
  • Coverage: structural integrity issues such as weld cracking, weld detachment, or fracture under normal load and intended use.

Primary Electrical and Mechanical Components

  • Covered parts: motors, motor assemblies, controllers (upper and lower controller assemblies), chargers, charging cables, push rod motors, armrest assemblies with integrated mechanisms, omni wheel assemblies, rear hubs, universal hubs, joystick/control modules, and similar functional components.
  • Warranty period: 12 months from the date of original retail purchase.
  • Coverage: defects such as abnormal noise, phase loss, burnout, demagnetization, material deformation, fracture, or failure not caused by external forces, misuse, or improper maintenance.

Battery

  • Covered parts: Robooter-branded lithium-ion batteries supplied with the product.
  • Warranty period: 12 months from the date of original retail purchase.
  • Coverage: failures under normal use such as abnormal voltage, inability to charge, or capacity dropping below 60% of original capacity within the warranty period, as determined by Robooter-approved testing.

Other Components & Soft Parts (12 months)

  • Covered parts: omni wheel assemblies, rear wheel hubs, caster wheel hubs, tail light, armrest lights, armrest brake cables, chassis protective rubber parts, leg straps, clamp components, clamp straps, soft pack parts, leg guards, and similar items.
  • Warranty period: 12 months from the date of original retail purchase.
  • Coverage: defects in materials and workmanship under normal use (for example, cracking, peeling, debonding, loosening, or similar issues) not caused by external forces, improper maintenance, or misuse.

Wear Parts (Consumables) (6 months)

  • Covered parts: tires, armrest covers (leather sleeves), seat cushions, buttons/switches, seat belts, fenders, cosmetic covers/trim, and other similar wear items.
  • Warranty period: 6 months from the date of original retail purchase.
  • Coverage: defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Normal wear and tear is not covered.

Consumables & Non-Warranted Items (Not Covered)

The following items are classified as consumables and are not covered by this Warranty: wiring harnesses, power socket assemblies, exterior decorative parts/trim, cosmetic accessories, pull cables, free gifts, and promotional items.

Accessories & Add-ons

  • Robooter-branded accessories (such as standard chargers, basic accessory brackets, etc.) not otherwise specified may be covered for 12 months from the date of original retail purchase.
  • Third-party accessories or components not supplied by Robooter are not covered under this Warranty. Please refer to the third-party manufacturer’s warranty where applicable.
This Warranty is provided to the original retail purchaser only and is non-transferable, unless Robooter expressly allows transfer in writing.

What Robooter Will Do

During the applicable warranty period, if a covered component is found to have a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use, Robooter will, at its option:
  • Provide replacement parts and remote guidance (including repair videos and instructions) so that the product can be repaired locally;
  • Replace the defective product or component with the same or a comparable model if repair is not practical.
For free-of-charge warranty replacement parts, the replacement part’s warranty will continue for the remaining time of the original part’s warranty period. Newly purchased (paid) components will have a new warranty period as described above.
Robooter is not obligated to provide an exact color match or identical cosmetic appearance, as product designs and colors may change over time.

What Is Not Covered (Exclusions)

This Warranty does not apply to any damage, defect, or failure resulting from:
  1. Improper assembly, installation, or adjustment not performed in accordance with Robooter’s instructions.
  2. Misuse, abuse, or abnormal use, including but not limited to:
    1. Exceeding the maximum weight, slope, or speed limits;
    2. Off-road or stunt use not intended by the product design;
    3. Use in extreme environmental conditions (e.g., deep water, corrosive environments).
  3. Accidents or external events, such as collisions, falls, impacts, fire, natural disasters, war, or other force majeure events.
  4. Improper transportation, handling, or storage, including shipping damage not reported
  5. Unauthorized modifications or disassembly, including structural alterations, conversion, or using parts not approved by Robooter.
  6. Repairs performed with non-original parts or by service personnel not authorized by Robooter.
  7. Normal wear and tear and cosmetic changes, including:
    1. Scratches, chips, fading, or discoloration of surfaces and paint;
    2. Normal wear of tires, cushions, covers, rubber parts, and similar items over time;
    3. Creaks or small noises that develop during normal use and can be resolved by routine maintenance.
  8. Damage caused by failure to perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning, charging, and inspection as described in the user manual.
  9. Products without valid proof of purchase, products purchased from non-authorized channels, or products altered to remove or deface serial numbers or labels.
  10. Free gifts or promotional items included with the product, which are not covered by this Warranty.

How to Obtain Warranty Service

To initiate a warranty claim:
  1. Contact Robooter Customer Support at after-sales-service@bangbangrobotics.com or via our online warranty form.
  2. Provide:
    1. Your name and contact information;
    2. Product model and serial number;
    3. Proof of original retail purchase (invoice, order confirmation, or receipt); and
    4. A description of the issue, including photos or videos if requested.
  3. Robooter or an authorized service partner will review your claim, may request additional information, and will provide instructions for repair, replacement parts, or return if needed.
Do not ship your product to Robooter without prior authorization. Shipments that do not have a Robooter-issued authorization may be refused and returned at your expense.

Geographic Limitations

This Warranty is valid only for products purchased and used in the United States (48 continental states). Robooter reserves the right to limit warranty service to the country or region where the product was originally purchased, as indicated on your proof of purchase.


Shipping Damage Coverage

Damage that occurs during shipping is not considered a defect in materials or workmanship under this Warranty. However, Robooter will assist in resolving shipping damage if you:
  1. Inspect your product immediately upon delivery;
  2. Notify Robooter of any shipping damage within 30 days of the delivery date;
  3. Provide dated photos and/or video of the damaged product and packaging; and
  4. Retain all original packaging and documentation until your claim is resolved.
If shipping damage is confirmed and reported within the required timeframe, Robooter will, at its option, repair or replace the damaged product or components at no cost to you.

Policy Changes & Interpretation

Robooter reserves the right to update or adjust this Limited Warranty from time to time, for example due to changes in applicable laws or internal policy updates. Any changes will be announced on the official Robooter website at least 30 days before they take effect. Customers who purchased products before a policy change may be eligible to choose whether the previous policy or the updated policy applies to their after-sales service.
